Title party at Portobello this Saturday in conjunction with Mamma's Pizzeria

We have a special Super Saturday this weekend with all of our National League Division 1 teams at home on Saturday except for the Senior Men, 2 National League trophies being presented and delicious pizza available at the tuck shop courtesy of our friends at Mamma's! The Senior Men will be in action on Friday night at Portobello against Glasgow Storm as the tussle for play off positions continues.

On Saturday our guests are Falkirk Fury as our Cadette, Junior and Senior Women and Cadet and Junior Men all play Fury. First up are the Cadette Women who need to bounce back from their defeat last week at the hands of St Mirren and get the win to maintain their challenge for 3rd place in the league. Next up are the Junior Women who will be looking for a repeat of the strong victory the last time the two teams met. The third fixture of the day is the Senior Women who clinched the National League title last weekend. The League trophy will be presented after this game. After the excitement of the league trophy presentation it will be back to league business as the Cadet Men face Fury, the teams are on the same number of points in the league and the last time they met Kings lost by 11, our Cadet Men have been on fire recently so Coach Craig Nicol will be backing his team to overturn that deficit. The last game of the day at Portobello sees the Junior Men who are this season's League champions take on Falkirk. The Junior Men League trophy will be presented after this game. It would be great to see a big crowd at the last home games of the season to cheer our teams on and share in their success.

Away from Portobello on Saturday the Junior Men Division 2 team travel west to play North Lanarkshire. This league has been a great chance for us to give our developing Junior Men and Cadet Men a chance to get more playing experience.

Sunday sees our first foray into the playoffs as the Cadette Women D2 team play in the quarter final against Ayr Storm. They also have their final league game earlier in the day against West Lothian Wolves. The Cadet Men Divsion 2 Caledonia team are at home at Holy Rood against St Mirren B.

Good luck to our younger players at the Future Starz National Camps on Saturday and Sunday.

THE CADET MEN D2 ON SUNDAY HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL FRIDAY 6TH MARCH AT 19:20 AT PORTOBELLO HIGH SCHOOL.
