Fixtures for 7th and 8th March

This weekend sees the Under 14s boys play in the Scottish Cup semi-final against St Mirren on Sunday. This team have had a great run in the Cup but will have to all be at their best against a strong Paisley side. Let's hope they will be the third Club team in the Scottish Cup final this season! Elsewhere it is the tail end of the league fixtures with the Senior Women first up on Friday with their last game of the league season away to Lady Rocks. This should be a good game as Kats will want to keep their losses column at zero for the season but Rocks need to win to maintain their challenge for the runners up spot. The Cadet Men Divison 2 Caledonia team are at home at Portobello to St Mirren, so please come down and cheer the team on if you can.

The Junior and Cadet Men are both playing at Dunfermline on Saturday. The Juniors of course are already league champions but will want to keep their momentum going into the play offs next weekend. The Cadet Men will confirm the runners up spot with a win against Dunfermline, the Cadets are on a great run of form at the moment and should get the win needed. The Senior Men will need to bounce back from the disappointment of their Tuesday night loss to St Mirren when they face Glasgow University on Saturday. The only other game on Saturday is the Junior Women against South Lanarkshire Colliers. The Juniors are set for a 5th place finish this season which will mean they will face St Mirren in the play offs.

On Sunday as well as the Under 14s in the Cup we have 3 of our Division 2 teams in action. The Junior Men D2 team are in Grangemouth at the playoffs where they will meet Grampian. The last time the teams met there was only 1 point in it so should be a good game! The Cadet Men D2 Thistle team are at home at Holy Rood against Renfrew Rocks. Kings had a good win against Renfrew the last time they played so let's hope for a repeat. The other Cadet Men D2 win have a longer journey as they head to Perth and again they will be hoping for the same winning result as the teams last meeting.
