All change for the Senior Men

The rebuilding of our Senior Men's team continues with the departure of veteran Simon Flockhart after many years at the Club. We have been very fortunate to have someone of Simon's calibre at the Club for so many years and his contribution on and off the field has been massive. After much deliberating Simon has taken the decision to finish his playing career at Falkirk Fury who are coached by his father in law.

Simon had this to say about his move "It is honestly the hardest decision I've ever made in basketball but I can't ignore the family influence anymore and with only 3/4 years left in me playing, I felt I needed to give it a shot. I feel very lucky to have been part of such a massive club and proud of what I have helped achieve on and off the court. Thank you for all the support and good times throughout the years. I won't be a stranger and will always think of of this club as my home in basketball no matter what happens." Senior Men's head coach Doug Reilly said "I understand Simon's motivation and would echo the Club's view in terms of the contribution he has made as a player and active committee member. "
