Senior Women get it together at last

After stuttering a little in the first half of the season, Kats Senior Women put it all together and ran Tayside Musketeers off the court last Saturday 11/01/2014.

At last the girls played like a team and shot the eyes out of the basket with 57% from 2-point range. They ran the floor effortlessly and put away some delightful fast breaks.

With 10 players scoring it really was a team effort. Hannah led all scorers with 25 points and was back to something like her best. Leanne netted a season high of 19 points, Rose hit 13 and Emma 12. Sarah with 9 , Kirsten and Tracey with 8 each showed that points came from all over the floor. Trace made some great passes and gave lots of help and encouragement in defence.

The final score of 102 - 44 begs the question of "how did we lose to them by 2 earlier in the season?". Lets hope we can play like this for the remainder of the season.

Meanwhile, The Junior Women had a good win against Tayside also and have now beaten every other team in the League. They remain undefeated and on course for a great season.

Unfortunately the Cadette Women had a disappointing loss in the first game of the day and did nothing to help Coach Kara Gilles' recovery from illness which caused her to miss the game.
