Weekend preview - Friday 4th, Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th October

Friday sees the Senior Women launch their Scottish Cup campaign against St Mirren, at the Lagoon, tip-off at 8:15.

This Saturday sees the first home game for the Senior Men as along with the Cadet and Junior Men they face St Mirren.

First up are the Cadets at 11am with coach Steven Dickson hoping to put the defeat by Boroughmuir behind them and get their second win of the season. However as they face the current league leaders this will be a tough game which will need all players to be at the top of their game.

The Juniors on the other hand will meet a St Mirren side seeking their first win of the season and should be well rested having had a 2 week break.

The last game of the day is the Senior Men at 3pm. The Men will be looking to get back on track after their surprise loss to Boroughmuir 2 weeks ago but St Mirren are always a tough opponent and have started the season well with only one defeat in a close game with Falkirk.

Simon Flockhart returns after missing the Boroughmuir game and we should see new signings Wojciech Kabat from Poland and Greek guard Menelaos Kokolios get their debuts pending clearance from their federations.

Coach Doug Reilly says:
"The biggest challenge in this early part of the season is finding the right balance with our new look team."

On Sunday the Cadette Women will start their campaign in the National League Division 2 which has replaced the RDL for this age group. They will play Gracemount Panthers at 3pm at St Augustine's High School. Meanwhile, the Under 18 Men Division 2 team take on Boroughmuir at Holy Rood High with a 12:30 tip-off.

As ever please come along and show the teams your support.
