RDL time again and the U/14 boys were involved in 4 games
The day started well with the Boys "B" team securing a convincing win against Blaze "B", all the boys played at least 1/4 of the game with most adding their names to the score sheet. Great displays from Kyle, Daniel and Owen all who helped the younger players get involved.
Game 2 for the B team was against a taller team from West Lothian. After a poor start we finally found the basket and after being behind for the most of the game it was good to come away with a 1 point win after full time. A hard fought game.
The A team had by far the toughest challenge in the RDL to date, Falkirk were in top form and pulled away with an early lead which we could not match on the day and were deserving winners.
The next A game was against a well drilled Stirling Knights and a poor start in the first quarter loosing it 17-6. We started to play a bit better with both Blair and Rory working well inside, good "D" allowed us to turn the ball over but alas as ijn the previous game we could not buy a shot to go in, loosing the game by 13. Well done to Stirling and time for us to reflect and come back stronger for the next set of RDL's.
A big mention to Charlie who played the last game with a fractured finger and hope he will be ready for the next rounds.
