Scottish Cup Weekend

This weekend, at Edinburgh University's Centre for Sport and Excercise in the Pleasance, two of our teams are bidding to hang on to their silverware from last year.

The Cadet Men take to the court early at 11:00am on Saturday. Their opponents are Boroughmuir Blaze, whom they have played and beaten only once this season, in a 52 - 55 overtime thriller at St Thomas' High. Let's hope its not so close this time!

The Senior Women take on Glasgow Rocks on Sunday at 15:00 a team they have also played only once so far this season. On that occasion the Kats went down narrowly 72 - 69 at St Maurice's High.

It's a great opportunity to watch some quality basketball and cheer on your club mates as well - tickets cost £8 for a day pass and £15 for a weekend pass. Accompanied children under 14 are free. Good luck to both teams!

A full schedule of all the games can be found on basketballscotland.
