The City of Edinburgh Basketball Club opened the 2008-2009 season with a clean slate, and they kept it clean. The club recorded five victories on the opening weekend.
The Senior Women routed the Clark Eriksson Fury 87-46.
The Junior Men hammered Glasgow City 91-58.
The Junior Women downed the Clark Eriksson Fury 59-43.
The Cadet Men edged the Glasgow Rens by two 62-60.
The Cadette Women handled West Lothian 61-40.
The Senior Men had a bye the opening weekend. These tremendous performances point toward an incredible season! Join us the stands for future contests or lace up your boots and come down to training. Whatever you do, get involved because it is going to be a wild ride!
