The Cadette and Junior Women had a succesful preseason weekend as they both won the Newcastle Eagles Pre-season tournament at Sports Central, University of Northumbria. Teams from Sheffield, Barrow, Bury, Chester, Ellesmere Port, Newcastle were there in various groups in the new 3 court arena at Northumbria Uni, where the GB men played Macedonia recently.
To cap a fantastic weekend for the club Katie McBrierty picked up the JW MVP award. Well done to all who took part.
