Fixtures for 7th, 8th and 10th February

After the excitement of the Cup Final weekend its back to league business for our National League teams. As its a national training squad weekend, the men's games are on the Saturday to allow for national training on Sunday and the women's games are on the Sunday as their national training is on Saturday. We have 2 home games on Saturday as the Cadet Men and Junior Men welcome Boroughmuir Blaze to Portobello. For the Cadet Men this is an early chance to avenge their Cup defeat at the hands of Blaze. The Junior Men's game is a vital top of the table clash with Kings aiming to repeat their 13 point victory in the first meeting this season between the Clubs. With Blaze and St Mirren the only teams with a realistic chance of catching Kings, the month of February will go a long way to deciding the destination of the league championship. The Senior Men continue their league campaign with an away game against Dunfermline Reign on Saturday. The battle for the play off places is shaping up to go right to the wire so every game is vital at this stage.

The womens' teams are all at home for their fixtures on Sunday, although as both Kats and their opponents Polonia play their Sunday home games at Holy Rood High School there will be no home advantage! The Junior Women are at home at Portobello but on Tuesday against SWL. The Cadette Women will be aiming to overturn the narrow league defeat. The Senior Women will be determined to get back to their winning ways after their surprise Cup Final defeat. The Senior Men Division 2 team are also at home at Holy Rood against Stirling Knights. The Cadet Men Division 2 team have the longest distance to travel this weekend as they head to Fraserburgh.

Good luck to everyone!
