Fixtures for 14th and 15th February

This Valentine's Day weekend sees a lot of travelling for our Cadets and Juniors as they all head off to Inverness to play Highland Bears. After last weekend's outstanding performance by the Cadet Men, hopefully they will not suffer travel sickness and will get the win that could see them leapfrog Falkirk in the league if Blaze bounce back from their defeat at Portobello and get the win in their match. Alternatively if Fury get the win, that will leave 4 teams on the same number of losses behind St Mirren with only one loss. This league is very tight this season and with St Mirren still to play both Fury and Kings it is shaping up to be an very interesting run in.

The in form Junior Men are sitting at the opposite end of the league from their opponents on Saturday and it would be a major shock if they didn't get the win. With their nearest challengers, Blaze and St Mirren, also having fairly straightforward games, the league is building nicely to a showdown next weekend when Kings and St Mirren meet.

The Senior Men are at home to our near neighbours Edinburgh University and this should be an enthralling game as both teams are in the tussle for play off spots and have both hit a good run of form in their last few games. Following the Senior Men's game at Portobello are the U14 boys in the quarter final of the Scottish Cup. They face a tough game against West Lothian Wolves so your support would be appreciated! The Tuck Shop will be open for business on Saturday.

On Sunday its the Cadette and Junior Women's turn to make the long journey to Inverness and we are indebted to the two dads who have offered to drive the team minibuses. The Cadette Women will be buoyed up by their win against Polonia last Sunday and will be looking for another victory to consolidate their league position with only 3 league fixtures remaining. The Junior Women will be hoping to repeat their earlier comprehensive win over Highland and bounce back from their midweek defeat at the hands of SWL. The Senior Women have no game this weekend.
