Weekend Preview 15th/16th/17th March

The National League play-offs get into full swing this weekend with four of our teams involved.

The Senior Men are first up on Friday 15th when they travel to The Peak in Stirling to play The Knights, tip-off at 8pm. This is the first of a double-header, with the return match scheduled for the following Saturday at Portobello.

The younger teams are also involved in play-off action at The Peak on Saturday 16th. The Junior Men and the Cadet Men are both appearing in the final 4's games - both against local rivals Boroughmuir Blaze. Games tip-off at 12:10 for the Cadets and 16:30 for the Juniors - tough matches for both teams.

The Junior Women begin their play-off campaign with a semi-final against Tayside, whom they have beaten four times already this season. Their match slots in between the men's games at 14:20. Here's hoping for some good performances to take the teams through to next week's finals.

Meanwhile, on Sunday 17th, the Senior Women conclude their league campaign with a re-scheduled game against Pentland Star at Broughton High at 12:20. The play-offs for the ladies team don't begin until 14th April with a tie against Glasgow Rocks at Portobello.

Lastly, the U18 Kings B team hope to continue their impressive Division 2 league progress with a trip to Dundee where, in a truncated day due to the absence of Stirling, they play only one game againt Pentland Tigers at 14:30.

Good luck to all teams this weekend.
