The Junior Women's team had an excellent victory at home to Glasgow Rocks on Sat 29th Sept.
After a close 1st quarter of 20 - 18 the girls played some great stuff to win the next 2 quarters by 45 points to 24. Subbing 5 for 5 throughout the final quarter produced a final score of 78 - 55.
Hannah with 26, Kirsten 21 and Kirsty 13 were the big points scorers, but points from 9 players in all, showed it was a good team effort.
Rocks struggled to cope with some excellent fast breaking basketball before and after halftime and the girls will take confidence into the rest of the season from this result.
The Cadette Women were not so fortunate however, losing 37-60 against the Rocks.
Well done also to the U18 and U16 Men's teams, who both progress to the next round of the Scottish Cup, with away wins against Edinburgh Lions (104-22) and Grampian Flyers (75-70) respectively.
The U18 Men's B team also put in a great performance in the Division 2 games at Grangemouth, winning against both Glasgow Rocks (87-85) and Edinburgh Lions (100-24).
