A few words from Kevin

Kevin Will, a member of our successful Senior Men's squad, has been in touch to share his thoughts on the season just finished:

I had a fantastic season of playing basketball for the Edinburgh Kings. Before going abroad to Scotland I haven't even thought about being part of such a young and successful team and to win the scottish championship at the end of the season as well as playing the playoff final in Stirling.

Although I haven't been practicing with the team in the preseason I quickly became a member of the team and I felt comfortable going to practice as often as possible . Unfortunately I've just been to practice once a week because of my job and the commitments that comes with it but I was definitely satisfied with the playing time Doug gave me through the whole season.

I really appreciated the hospitality of the coaches and the kindness of the the whole club. It made fun helping out with the U12 coaching once a month and I hope that they'll remember me.

I am looking foward to the race night to spend some time with the guys and I wish the whole club and especially my team the best for the future.

I will leave Edinburgh in September this year to start university back in Germany to become a teacher in sports and politcs. I might play for the club I used to play for last season.

Thank you for everything.

Kevin Will

We are glad to hear that Kevin enjoyed his experience with the Club and we wish him all the best for his future career.
