Sunday Hoops - It's Back!

Sunday Hoops is returning with new coaches and a new home.

Due to support from basketballscotland's FutureClubz initiative we are now in a position to offer a 10 Week block of Sunday Hoops at the incredible value of £10 for the block as a "welcome back" gift!

The new coaching team will consist of Jim Wright and Derek Ferguson with support from some of our junior players. Jim's role as well as head coach will be to mentor and develop our younger coaches so if you are interested in getting a start in coaching then please let us know.

Sunday Hoops will now be based at Holy Rood High School to take advantage of the height adjustable baskets and the competitive Sunday rate! So if you have a friend or family member who is aged 8-10 years old then this will be the ideal way to introduce them to basketball.

Sunday Hoops will aim to get the basic skills in place that will enable them to move onto Under 12s and beyond.

The course will be at 10am until 11am and will run for 10 weeks between Sunday 22nd April and Sunday 24th June and is aimed at Primary 4 and Primary 5 pupils, both boys and girls.

Older primary school children are welcome to attend our Under 12s sessions.

Anyone interested in joining up should email the club at cityofedinburgh@gmail.com to ask for an application form, don't delay as numbers are limited.
