Edinburgh to host Falkirk this week

City of Edinburgh are involved in no less than five games with Clark Eriksson Fury Basketball Club, over the next few days at Portobello.

First up on Saturday, with an 11:00am tip off, are the Cadet Men, who are looking to maintain their impressive unbeaten record in the league this season. The boys will be looking to improve though on their performance in the previous meeting with Fury in the Scottish Cup, which the Kings won by only 5 points.

The Senior Women are next up at 13:00 and they should be strong enough to see off bottom-placed Falkirk and maintain their challenge at the top of the table.

Next to take to the floor are the Junior Men, who have something to prove against Fury having lost twice at the Mariner this season (by only one and two points in Cup and League respectively). Expect a close game!

In the last game on Saturday, in a crunch top of the league clash, the Senior Men are aiming to put their poor performance in the Scottish Cup behind them and show their true potential. With both teams locked on 21 points at the top of the table, this could well decide the final league positions for the season.

Don't forget the tuck shop is open all day and we are still selling raffle tickets for our Cup Final passes and signed GB strip. Hope to see you on Saturday!

The Cadette Women's game has been re-scheduled to Tuesday evening at 18:45. The girls will be aiming to make it three wins in row against Falkirk after two close encounters already this season.
