Junior Women lose after a poor start at Linwood

The Junior Women never got to the pace of the game in the first quarter against St Mirren on Sunday 20th Nov.

Down 24 - 5 at the end of the quarter before then deciding to play a bit and winning 2 of the next 3 quarters, finally going down 72 - 51. Down by 2 points in the last 3 quarters showed we are not far away had we got a better start.

Good work in training went missing during the game and we gave the St Miren team, who are competent but not unbeatable far too much room and respect.

Poor shooting from the field and the line left us with only Hannah and Kirsty in double figures.

Need a big comeback this week against Fury at Portobello.
