The Kings Senior Men are set to take on the Glasgow Rocks in the first round of the BBL Cup at the end of October.
The game, which takes place at the Kelvin Hall, Glasgow on Sunday, October 30th will be a rare opportunity to see how the top two mens teams in Scotland match up.
The last time the teams met in 2006, the Kings lost to the Scottish Rocks 103-59, but it should be much closer this time around.
“We’re delighted to get this opportunity,” said Doug Reilly. “The players and coaching staff are eagerly looking forward to pitting ourselves against the Glasgow Rocks, in a game that will be an excellent test of our abilities.”
The game tips off at 5:00pm and tickets are priced at £8-£10 (adults) and £5-£6 (under 16s and concessions) with family passes also available (£22 - £26). Prices vary according to seating type and whether booked online or at the box office.
In order to make sure all our club members are able to sit together and to take advantage of the fundraising opportunity outlined here we would like to find out how many people would like to purchase tickets for this game at £6 per head (same price for adults and children).
This represents an opportunity to save money on the ticket price, to donate to club funds without having to do anything and to ensure that we are all seated together thereby generating a better atmosphere to hopefully cheer the men onto victory! If you wish to purchase tickets please let Clare Mackle know the following information:
- Your name
- Which age group you or your child attends (so we know where to collect the money!)
- Your email address
- How many tickets you require
Time is tight so unfortunately we will have to put a closing date of Monday 17th October for responses. Clare will then collect the ticket money at training.
So make a date in your diary for the 30th!
