East/Central Regional Development Clinic

basketballscotland is delighted to announce that Oscar De Paula is travelling to Scotland to present a clinic focusing on ‘Dynamic Practices for Under 12 Players’.

The details are as follows:
Date: Saturday 23rd of July
Time: 3pm – 7pm
Venue: Forrester High School, Edinburgh
Cost: £5 admittance to the clinic/£20 to attend the clinic and coaches dinner

Oscar De Paula is currently the Head Coach for the U18 Men Division 1 team, St Josep Badalona. Amongst other commitments Oscar is currently involved with/has been involved with the following projects:
- Coach U12 basketball for 6 seasons at CB Montcada and La Salle Montcada.
- Coach for U12 Catalonian Regional Team 2001.
- Coach at Elite Jove Camp since 2003.
- Technical Director at Sagrat Cor Montcada School since 2008.
- Head Coach for U14 and U16 teams at CB L’Hospitalet during 6 seasons, including some Final Four appearances.

Nicola McBrierty will also present a brief session on Warm Up Practices for U12 players. Nicola is currently involved with the following projects at basketballscotland:
- Currently is U15 Girls National Team Assistant Coach and U14 Girls National Team Head Coach
- Head Coach at City of Edinburgh Council Basketball Academy
- Former National Squad Player

The format of the day is as follows:

Coaches are also invited to attend a coaches dinner after the clinic. The dinner which will kick of at 7:45pm in Zizzis Restaurant (42 - 45 Queensferry Street, Edinburgh) is a great opportunity to meet Oscar and network with like minded basketball coaches.

If you would like to attend the clinic please contact Luis Romero East/Central Regional Co-ordinator (east.central@basketball-scotland.com) as soon as possible and by Wednesday 13th of July at the latest. You should confirm with Luis if you will be attending the clinic only or the clinic and the coaches dinner. Places will be confirmed on receipt of payment.
