From our chairman, Trevor Lodge : "I hope you have had an enjoyable and relaxing summer. Welcome back. I'd like to extend a very warm welcome to all new players and their families who are joining the club for the first time. I am sure you will enjoy your time with us and play a big part in our continuing success.

Training is well under way and everyone is working very hard in preparation for the season ahead. Keep up the good work. We are all looking forward to another exciting and successful season.

Remember to come along to our Get Registered day on Saturday 12 September 10am until 1pm. Details have already been distributed to teams through coaches and team managers. This is when you can pay your subscriptions and pick up you free hoodie which is part of the Club's 2009 merchandise range soon to be available to order from an 'on-line shop'.

The next tranche of uniforms in our rolling replacement programme is about to arrive and will shortly be issued to those teams due to receive them. As we did last year, we are arranging with Kevin Anderson (our former Senior Men's captain) to send our old uniforms to a good cause.

We will be running our usual fundraising events this year. Please continue to give your support it is vital for the development of the Club and much appreciated. Anyone with business contacts who might be willing to sponsor the Club's activities please let us know.

We also need help in lots of other ways if we are to continue our success on court. We are always keen to hear from anyone interested in helping with the organisation and running of the Club. If you think you can help in any way at all please get in touch with me or any other members of the Management Committee.
